Statewide Merchant Card Services Policy
In accordance with the State Depository Board’s ‘Merchant Card Services Policy’, as amended May 30, 2018, the State Treasurer has entered into statewide agreements with Branch Banking & Trust Company, SunTrust Bank/SunTrust Merchant Services, LLC, and Wells Fargo Bank NA/Wells Fargo Merchant Services, LLC for use by all state entities.
State entities and local governments may select from among these three merchant card service providers to replace Banc of America Merchant Services, LLC (BAMS) whose master services agreement with the state expired June 30, 2019 .
